Serving Together

One thing you discover pretty quickly in life is that some things are just better when you don’t try to do them alone. We were not created to do life – or ministry – alone. The emphasis for this session is not just on serving, but on serving together.

This value really describes who we are as a church! We serve together to meet a need by combining our individual gifts and abilities – whether it is holding a kids event or responding to a disaster or doing a Life Group ministry project.

When God’s people come together to serve for God’s glory, something special happens. It’s something greater than the teamwork you find on a championship sports team, greater than the synergy you can experience on the staff of a great company.

Serving Together as a church is different – not only because it carries the power of the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit, but also because it flows out of something deeper than organization or structure or good chemistry. It flows out of the very heart and example of Jesus Christ.
