upcoming events

Please make plans to join us for a very special FBC Women’s event, Truth & Tea: Becoming Women of Faith, on April 14 from 6-8 PM in the Family Life Center. Our guest will be Valerie Millsapps, author, public speaker, and director of a local non-profit organization. Valerie has had the opportunity to share her passion for living life unashamed and surrendered on TBN’s The Huckabee Show, B97.5 with Michelle Silva, and at numerous churches and groups across East Tennessee.

Valerie’s book, A Voice that Kills, is based on a true story of a woman who almost let the voice of the enemy take her life and the life of her own daughter.  From one negative voice after another, Valerie shares how we, too, can overcome the voices that want to kill, steal, and destroy our lives by pointing them back to the one voice of truth, the Holy Spirit, our helper.

God wants to use us and our stories for His glory. We need to use our voice of compassion and truth to save lives. As women of faith, we have been silent far too long.

Make reservations now to attend and personally hear Valerie’s incredible testimony.

Cost is $10.  Nursery will be provided.

We, as FBC Women, long to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Life can be hard. We need each other now more than ever. That’s why we believe FBC Women is a key element not only for personal growth but also for service and fellowship. Whether you are young or more mature, married or single, with children or without, new in the faith or have been walking with the Lord for many years, we invite you to become a part of FBC Women. We would love to study God’s Word with you or see you at our next event. Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested in becoming involved or would like to serve in this ministry.
