Chase After Chariots

In this session, we see that Philip, who’s been ministering in Samaria, is visited by an angel of the Lord. The angel tells him to go to the desert road between Jerusalem and Gaza. As he’s goes, Philip encounters the chariot of an Ethiopian official.

This official was one of the most powerful men in Africa, a eunuch in charge of the treasury of the Queen of this incredibly rich nation. Philip runs up beside his chariot and asks him if he understands what he’s reading. The Eunuch doesn’t, so he invites Philip, a random stranger, into the chariot with him!

Philip proceeds to share the Gospel with this man, beginning with the passage from Isaiah that he was reading. The Eunuch is so excited to get saved that he immediately stops the chariot by some water in the desert so that he can get baptized. Let's see what happens next.
