The Church is Born

In the last session, Pastor Craig preached about Pentecost, the day 120 believers were praying in an upper room and the Holy Spirit, like a rushing, mighty wind, filled them and propelled them into the streets of Jerusalem, sharing the gospel with power! And then what happened?

After God pours out His Spirit on that Pentecost Sunday and 3,000 people are saved, Luke stops the narrative and gives us a screenshot of what this newborn church actually looked like. What did it feel like to be part of that community? What did they do on Monday morning? What held them together on Tuesday? What made them different from every other group in Jerusalem? Let’s find out as we read Acts 2:40-47.
