Prison Break

We have come to Acts 12, one of the most dramatic chapters in the book of Acts. It has an apostle rescued from prison and a king struck down in his pride. It has angel involvement. It has a comical scene that teaches some serious lessons about prayer.

And it has encouragement for anyone who finds themselves in the middle of real suffering or real danger or real uncertainty...God sees you, God hears you, and God can take care of anything that comes against you.

This chapter has a great message for us as a church that we should not miss: nothing – not even hell itself – can stop a church that is on mission for Jesus.
