Judges
NO CLASS ON JANUARY 3 - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BOOK - STUDY LESSON 1
Precept Inductive Bible Study on the Book of Judges
Classes begin on January 10, 2022
Led by Jennifer Finchum
The period of the Judges is one of the darkest recorded in Israel's history. Apathy was rampant. In this course, we will answer: What consequences face a nation, city, church, or even a group of friends when no one stands up for what is right in a society that says there are no absolutes? How does God respond to apathy and what hope is there for those in its deadly grip? Is there a deliverer?
DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT
This event is open to ANYONE from ANYWHERE. We have welcomed folks from Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong as well as various states in the USA.
Lessons are discussed at 6:45pm ET - BOTH on campus AND transmitted for live, interactive online discussion via Zoom. Discussions are recorded each week. A pre-recorded lecture will be transmitted for you to watch optionally on your own (you must sign up).
You can join any time by reserving your spot with a free ticket and purchasing the appropriate workbook OR just join in with your Bible and you can decide if you want to purchase a workbook.
Chapters for discussion are listed in the class schedule. If you are not local, you must purchase your own book. If your book does not come in time, you can also download Lesson 1 for free. Please use the link for both.
If you are local, the books will be at First Baptist Church in the same location they always are. The same payment for each workbook is due as before. You may leave your payment in the offering boxes located in the lobby (be sure to note in the memo field why you are giving money).
Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Chronicles scheduled from March through the Fall of 2022.
