Speak & Behold

John 1:35-36 — Again on the next day John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!
Life seems to have become too busy to pause and observe much anymore. Social media videos are often only seconds long, for fear of boring people and losing followers. Think about what John said. He and his disciples were standing there when he spoke up and said, “Hey y’all, stop, look, it’s the Lamb of God!” Sometimes we need to press pause and speak to those around us. When we see an opportunity to invite people to meet the Lamb of God, we should use it. John wanted his disciples to behold Christ. Do you want your friends and family to behold Christ? If so, speak up and tell them!
Prayer Prompt
Before you get your day started today, press pause and look at Jesus. Dwell with Him and remember what He has done for you. Ask God to keep that fresh in your mind and use you today in a bold way.
