Come & See!

John 4:39, 41-42 - Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.”…And many more believed because of his word. They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”
Every person who is a follower of Jesus has a story to tell of what He has done for them. The details change - age, life decisions, family situations, and reasons for brokenness. The gospel, however, stays the same.
In Christian circles, we call this a testimony. It’s first-hand evidence of what God has done in your life. Have you shared your testimony with anyone? The Samaritan woman shared her story with others, which led to them searching for Jesus. By the end of their time with Jesus, they knew that He is “indeed the Savior of the world.” Do you have a story of meeting Jesus? Whom do you need to share your story with?
Prayer Prompt
Father, thank you for rescuing me from sin and death. The truth that You have made a way for humans to have peace with You through faith in Christ is too important for me to hold onto for myself. Give me an opportunity and courage to share my story with someone this week.
